This short film is about the toil of existence made more palatable using the literary trope of anthropomorphized animals! The title makes reference to the selective killing of wild animals, but also to the game programming term of the same name, in which all that appears outside of the camera’s current frame are programmatically not rendered.

The cafe and the friend's colors are randomly generated upon launch, giving the player a unique experience each time. This friend loves you unconditionally and will always be kind, so come hang out and relax!This neatly unifies the literal deaths of the animals, the direness of the personal struggle, and the fact that it’s an intensely personal experience that occurs within the frame of an individual’s own existence.
